Artisan P & DJ Proof Share Music Video for New Single “Daydreams”
“Daydreams” is the latest track from the duo since collaborating on Artisan P’s 2022 album Golden Summer
Since teaming up for their first album Direct Flights, released in 2016, Artisan P & DJ Proof have continued to release a string of songs over a span of several releases. They are now back together as a proper duo for, “Daydreams”, their first track together since DJ Proof contributed beats to Artisan P’s solo album Golden Summer.
On the new single, Artisan P weaves in and out of the varying emotions felt while enjoying a peaceful day outdoors. DJ Proof’s beat features a loop that has a dream-like trance, allowing the rapper to reflect on the passage of time while appreciate the beauty in life. “It’s a study of my observations, while taking note of my internal voice.” The music video features Artisan P appreciating the natural beauty around him.
